The Calitardo Suites tower majestically over the poetic landscape of Umbria. Small villages and castles rise on gently rolling hills above wide valleys, meadows and forests – the region is considered the green heart of Italy and is known for its rich cultural history. Situated high above Lake Trasimeno and close to the small medieval town of Città della Pieve, the Calitardo estate blends nature, art and pleasure with the charm and history of the region.
For 40 years, the manor house flanked by cypresses, olive groves and vineyards – once a watchtower from the 16th century – remained abandoned until it was rediscovered, renovated and transformed into a tasteful retreat with five spacious, individual holiday homes. The patina of the historic building now encounters modern design and selected antique pieces of furniture.
The two apartments Bella Marta! and Hey Gigi! are located in the stable building, which has been faithfully rebuilt and adapted to modern comfort. The three units Ciao Amore!, Salve Nonna Lina! and Buongiorno Principessa! are located in the main building – Casa Principale.
The 12-hectare property is not only home to a farm – on the way to organic certification – with its own olive oil production, but also a saltwater pool with a magnificent view from Lake Trasimeno to the foothills of the Apennines. For relaxation, there is an oak-panelled sauna, a steam bath under the terracotta vault and a Japanese furo bath.
The scent of lemon blossoms, lavender and rosemary fills the air as you stroll through the lush garden.

Drei Mal CALITARDO in einem Jahr! Gibt es eine größere Liebeserklärung an diesen wunderbaren Ort?! In Umbrien, an der Grenze zur Toskana gelegen, hat uns dieser Ort sofort verzaubert. Fünf Ferienwohnungen, eine schöner als die andere, perfekt ausgestattet und mit tollen Design. Ergänzt durch ein Clubhaus, mit allem, was das Herz begehrt, inklusive Sauna und Dampfbad. Und natürlich der Pool, 20 m lang und, da beheizt, zu jeder Jahreszeit nutzbar.
Andreas ist ein toller Gastgeber, vielen Dank, dass wir zu dir kommen dürfen.
Ein Meisterwerk inszeniert in den sanften Hügeln Umbriens.

Wie soll man eigentlich an einem Ort entspannen, an dem man aus dem Staunen nicht rauskommt?
Ganz gleich ob es die rundum stimmigen Appartments, der große Pool, der extrem weite und schöne Blick in die Landschaft, der selbstgebackene Kuchen an der Bar, die liebevollen Bepflanzungen oder der freundliche und unaufdringliche Charme des Gastgebers und Erschaffers dieses Ortes ist. Es ist alles derart stimmig, dass man sich immer und immer wieder umschaut und über die wahnsinnige Detailliebe ins Schwärmen gerät. Danke für die tolle Zeit an diesem besondernen Ort.
Was für ein schöner Ort in Umbrien in der Nähe von Città della Pieve. Ein sehr schön gestaltetes und mit Liebe geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Appartement, wo jedes Detail stimmt! Man fühlt sich zuhause und wird vom Gastgeber sehr herzlich aufgenommen. Ein Hideaway mit besonderem Charme! Pool und Wellnessanlage sind fantastisch und laden zum Schwimmen ein. Wir kommen wieder!

Wunderschönes Apartment mit einem atemberaubenden Blick über die Hügel Umbriens. Hier stimmt einfach alles! Jedes Detail ist in diesem alten Landgut mit viel Liebe und Können neu gestaltet. Patina und moderne Elemente harmonieren so selbstverständlich miteinander, man fühlt sich sofort gut angekommen. Der große Pool und der Spabereich sind ein weiteres Highlight. Ein traumhafter Ort für einen perfekten Italienurlaub.
