Nestled into the rolling hills of the Marches and with panoramic views of the sea, Casa Olivi is located close to the medieval town of Treia. The 300 year old farmhouse – partly destroyed by a fire in 1995 – was renovated over four years and converted into an exclusive holiday house. Now old meets new – sometimes merging, sometimes contrasting. The listed protective outer shell has been largely maintained and the roof has been replaced in a traditional way. But the new intermediate floors and interior walls have been plastered brilliantly white. Thus they reflect the light and the rooms appear bright and friendly while retaining the original small windows. The southern part of the house comprises the living room with a fireplace as well as four bedrooms in the two floors above. In the northern part of the building, the area destroyed by the fire, the kitchen and dining hall are located. Inserted in this open room that extends from the ground floor to the roof are three cubes containing entrance gallery, stairs and study room. Outside, the infinity pool forms a delightful contrast to the old walls of the house.

Wirklich gelungen! Sieht so aus, wie auf den Fotos!
Grossartig!!
