At Finca Sonrisa, Mallorcan architecture meets an exciting combination of contemporary design and Art Deco style. This 500 square metre villa is situated on a spacious property with panoramic views overlooking the lowlands and Tramuntana Mountains of Mallorca. A traditional country estate on the outside, the villa itself will surprise you with its modern interiors that transport the glamorous lifestyle of the 1920s into the present. Visiting holiday guests will receive the keys to an exclusive hideaway that combines a sophisticated clubhouse feel with the comfort of a luxury home – all whilst remaining absolute private.
The villa’s centrepiece is the spacious living room with a bar suspended between two columns. Linen-covered wall panels, which can be opened to reveal the windows behind them, provide pleasant acoustics, indirect lighting, and create a striking visual effect. At the end of the room, a staircase leads down to the lounge area with a fireplace. On the other side, there is a dining area with a custom-made table and bench set, and behind it is the kitchen. The ten-metre kitchen unit merges into an outdoor cooking area, separated only by a glass screen. In fine weather, this terrace becomes the second living room with a covered dining area and a lounge corner with extra-long benches. The 5 by 16 metre infinity pool invites you out to swim – and offers sweeping views across the island.
The house has four bedrooms (three of them with an en suite bathroom); there is another bedroom in the adjoining guesthouse
