Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt auf der Ferme de Brouage sehr genossen! Es war sehr ruhig und entspannt. Der Pool tat gut zur Abkühlung! Wir haben sehr viel gemeinsam als Familie gekocht in der wunderschönen Küche der Wohnung. Das frische Gemüse, welches à la discretion aus dem Garten geerntet werden durfte, hat uns immer wieder zu neuen kulinarischen Höchstleistungen animiert. Die Besitzer sind auf dem Hof sehr engagiert und nett. Die Hunde Tofu und Socrates immer für ein Spässchen bereit.

Wir verbrachten über Ostern eine tolle Woche mit 3 Generationen im wunderschönen Bergraum. Anders als bei vielen anderen Objekten, ist es hier in echt noch schöner als es auf den Fotos einzufangen ist. Die Lage ist ein Traum, das Wildental liegt direkt zu Füßen und wir konnten mit Kindern und Hund ganz entspannt fußläufig oder auch mit dem Bus verschiedene Ausflüge machen. Aber das große Wow empfängt einen beim Betreten des Bergraums. Durchgängig hochwertige, natürliche Materialien, große Fensterflächen, die die tolle Aussicht einfangen, überall gemütliche Rückzugsecken und eine toll ausgestattete Küche mit allem was man Zuhause auch gerne hat. Unsere Kinder liebten die Schaukel und die Empore mit den Spielzeugkisten, wir lagen gerne auf dem großen Sitzfenster und schmökerte durch die Berg-Bildbände und als nochmal Schneeregen kam, saßen wir gemütlich in der Sauna. Wir haben es uns hier herrlich gut gehen lassen und die Woche verging viel zu schnell.

Vielen Dank für diese wunderschöne Auszeit, wir können den Bergraum von Herzen nur weiterempfehlen.

Was für ein schönes Haus! Die Bilder versprechen nicht mehr als das, was man bekommt. Die Lage ist traumhaft, wir konnten während unseres Urlaubs alles zu Fuß erledigen und hatten trotzdem unsere Ruhe am Hofgarten. Das Haus wurde sehr schön renoviert und restauriert und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alles war auch ordentlich sauber und alles war da, was wir brauchten.

We spent last weekend in Meisterzimmer 2, with our 2 (young)adult sons.

It was an absolute delight to stay there. Original, full of light, beautiful design and well thought details.

Comfortable bathroom and kitchen were you can cook a proper meal. Because of the height and the incoming light it feels spacey.

It’s also close to the hip hub of Leipzig, and the Muhle restaurant on site is amazing.

We had an amazing time at the Schmidhuber house. We had never travelled to the area and this house is great to explore the area. Very quiet, beautiful design, with all the things you need. We were welcomed by a delicious slice of pie, what more can you ask for! We picked some mint from the garden and got some groceries from the market down the road and we put it to use in the well-equipped kitchen. On top of that there are various restaurant in the villages that are near. You can go both to the busy Munich, but also relax at the Chiemsee. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Nous avons passé un très chouette séjour dans ce magnifique endroit! Très beau gite décoré avec goût et tout confort, dans un environnement exceptionnel. Nous y étions avec nos enfants et avons tous les 4 adoré passer du temps à l’étang principal (paddle, barque, nage). Le bain nordique sous les étoiles nous a beaucoup plu aussi! On reviendra certainement!

We spent a week here in the summer of 2024 and loved it. It was perfect for our party consisting of 5 adults and 3 children. The location is stunning, the house is magnificent with space for everyone and yet also areas we gravitated to around meals etc. The house has been restored to its old glory and lacks nothing. It was an unforgettable week.

10 Étangs de ideale plaats om volledig zen te worden.

We verbleven er net een week met ons gezin. Het is een magische plek om op vakantie te gaan. Het in loft-stijl gerenoveerde vakantiehuis bevindt zich in een oase van rust. In het huis kan je gezellig samen koken in een goed uitgeruste keuken. Zowel binnen als buiten kan je genieten van een prachtig uitzicht.

Op het domein kan men wandelen, zwemmen in de vijver, petanquen,…

Anne en Jean-Luc zijn het ideale gastkoppel.

Wenn ich die Augen zu mache und an Vidovići denke, fallen gleich seine Düfte und Klänge ein – wiederzuentdeckende Geräuschkulisse wie den nächtlichen Sternenhimmel. Salbei, Helichrysum, Mastixbaum, Wacholder und die anderen Essenzen des duftenden Maquis, die neben der hochfahrenden Straße wachsen. Die unter der trockenen Sonne reifenden Feigen, die hunderte Käfer anlocken. Die unermüdlichen Zikaden, die das Vergehen des Tages begleiten. Eine Welt für sich, auf dem Hügel von Vidovići, aus dem man in die Ferne der Adria sich verlieren kann.

Auf dieser Welt wurde eine Architektur gebaut, die das Vorhandene respektiert und interpretiert. Im Haus 9 so wie im Haus 5, aber auch in den Außenbereichen, wurde eine eigene Sprache entwickelt, die sich mit den lokalen Materialien und Traditionen auseinandersetzt. Das Ergebnis ist ein wunderschöner gemütlicher Ort voller Geschichten, wo man sich wie nirgendwo anders erholen kann.

Bis jetzt waren wir immer am Ende Juni dort, aber hoffentlich bald wieder auch in einer anderen Jahreszeit!

In the last week of July we (two families, seven adults) had the wonderful experience of staying at Maremma House. It was as close to perfect as a holiday can get!

The house itself is beautifully designed and everything has been thought of. All furniture compliments the design of the house perfectly. The sofa and beds were extremely comfortable. The bathrooms beautiful and spacious. The kitchen has all that one could want (including a milk frother!) and is nicely installed in the center of the house so that no one is being left out while cooking.

Yes and then there is the pool. It is quite long (16m, so one can actually swim in there) and appropriately deep. There is also a very shallow platform on which even babies could play in the water without the risk of drowning. The water is always fresh, not chlorined (maybe slightly salted) and is regularly cleaned by a professional poolkeeper. Because of the high temperatures (above 33 Celsius every day) we spent half of our holiday in there…

The hosts Andrea and Luca, father and son from Florence, are extremely friendly and provide a host of additional information about the area and suggestions for tours, shops, restaurants etc. etc.

Would I recommend this place? Of course, even more so, I would return there any minute without hesitation! 11 out of 10 stars!

J’ai passé une semaine au mois de juillet 2024 à sept dans la maison et j’ai trouvé le lieu magique. D’abord il a le site, somptueux, et l’accès direct à la mer. Les baignades sont faciles et délicieuses. La maison elle-même est très belle, avec ses lignes épurées, ses circulations originales, ses effets de lumière un peu partout. On vit dans l’univers des grands designers italiens mais pas comme dans un magazine de déco. Tout est en parfait état mais on sent qu’il s’agit d’abord d’une maison de famille, un lieu vivant. Je reviendrai.

We stayed at Lleó 57 in June with our three adult children. It was a perfect choice for our family. The very thoughtful and attractive design of the house meant that we could all be together but also allowed everyone their own space and privacy. Every detail has been carefully executed. It’s very relaxing just to be at the house, enjoying its terraces and the pool. It’s also a great base from which to explore the area. Pollensa is a charming town and it’s easy to walk to shops and restaurants from the house. The surrounding area is beautiful and offers lots of opportunities to be physically active or to enjoy the many beaches. The sea was the perfect temperature for swimming. We have many memories of a delightful week at this lovely house and highly recommend it.

Vielen Dank für die wunderschönen Tage im Boomerang Haus. Wir fühlten uns bei Euch, Caroline & Eddy, sofort wohl und konnten richtig gut abschalten. Es ist ein traumhafter Ort mit herrlichem Blick aufs Meer, leckerem Frühstück und herzlichen Gastgebern 👍😊. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder und sind froh, Euch kennengelernt zu haben.

Wow!!! So sorry we missed it this year!

Podere 500 is truly food for the soul. Absolutely stunning inside and out and so easy and homely to live in. We went with three generations of our family including two 90 years olds and it was perfect. Annelies, Stephan, Luigi and the team have all made us so welcome and cared for. The views are incredible and there are multiple options of where to sit and eat together around the property, including a fire pit. Luigi is wonderful, and readily responds to any question. The beautiful views across to Cortona make you wonder if you should ever leave, but of course Tuscany calls too with amazing restaurants, wine tasting and many medieval villages to visit. Cycling around the lake and visiting Castiglione del Lago is a must, as is the at home pasta cooking class which was really fun and very tasty. We definitely want to return!

Spoor62 mit Irma und Jos ist für uns ein ganz besonderer Ort.

Wir waren nun zum zweiten Mal dort und auch dieses Jahreszeit ist wunderschön in Moere.

Irma hat uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen und wir durften mit den Velos die Umgebung erkunden und im Garten in der Hängematte entspannen. Ihre Weinauswahl und die Liebe zum Detail beim Frühstück ist fantastisch. Wir sagen von Herzen DANKE und freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

UN PARAÍSO PARA LOS SENTIDOS

Acudí a la casa con la intención de pasar unos días en un lugar tranquilo donde poder desconectar y recargar pilas. Al llegar me quedé gratamente impresionada con la localización y arquitectura de la casa. Tenía el mar al cruzar la calle y una casa que invitaba al descanso y la relajación. La sensación al estar dentro era de que la casa estaba viva. Todos los elementos estaban muy presentes, la madera que lo envuelve todo como en un abrazo, la circulación del aire que creaba la sensación de que la casa respiraba, los grandes ventanales abiertos al mar, las campanillas de viento que hacían vibrar todo el espacio, la chimenea. Me pareció un lugar mágico. Realmente pierdes la noción del tiempo estando allí.

La casa está perfectamente equipada con todo lo que puedas imaginar, llena de pequeños y grandes detalles que la hacen realmente acogedora y especial. Me dió pena no saber tocar el piano, invitaba a escucharlo. Leer un libro en el salón con esas maravillosas vistas fue una delicia. Ver amanecer sobre el mar mientras descansas en la cama y darte un baño contemplando el ocaso no tienen precio. Me sentí tan a gusto en la casa que apenas quise salir. Me parece un lugar idílico para un retiro, para los amantes de la tranquilidad. Lo único malo: después no quieres marcharte. Volveré seguro. 10 de 10. Gracias por ofrecer un espacio tan cuidado en todos los detalles.

What a beauty. The house offers an inspiring mixture of old and modern. As a party of ten persons, we especially enjoyed the spacious and modern kitchen for our cooking events in the evenings. The house offers enough rooms and outdoor spaces for a big group to spread around in and outside of the house, to relax and enjoy the sourounding.

Das Haus bietet eine tolle Atmosphäre, ist architektonisch sehr anspruchsvoll gestaltet und auch die Komponenten im Haus, ob Küchenausstattung, Möbel oder Bettwäsche, waren von gehobener Qualität. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit und konnten – wie der Name verspricht – unsere Akkus gut rechargen

Wir haben wundervolle 5 Tage in der Leeuwenstraat verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Küche perfekt ausgestattet, um mit einer größeren Gruppe zu kochen und zusammenzusitzen. Dias Wohnzimmer und die Schlafzimmer sind sehr schön designed und die Betten extrem bequem. Kathleen war sehr gut erreichbar und hat uns bei Fragen sofort weitergeholfen. Das Haus liegt mitten im Zentrum von Antwerpen und ist der optimale Ausgangsort, um die Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

Wunderbares Haus für Urlaub oder Workation. Bestens ausgestattet, großartig gestaltet (innen und außen), wundervoll gelegen. Wir waren im grauen Februar hier, es war grandios und stimmungsvoll.

Fuldstændig fantastiske dage vi har haft i det her idylliske sommerhus. Huset og naturen omkring indbyder virkelig til ro og afslapning, som vi aldrig har oplevet, på det niveau før.

Unser Urlaub war ganz besonders, weil wir nette Leute getroffen haben, die mit authentischer Liebe ihr Haus betreiben. Die Gegend um Lienz haben wir so gut kennengelernt, weil die Gespräche und die Tipps einen einmaligen Einblick gewährten. Einzigartig, die Ferienwohnung Kuchl mit individuellen Details.

What a wonderful and beautiful old building this is and yet the rooms are warm and cosy and so tastefully decorated. Breakfast was a delight of local produce and great care was taken in its presentation and execution. Congratulations to Jan and Judith – I will be back!!

Miri is a great host. The communication was excellent from the beginning. She did everything for us to feel at home. The house is beautiful and even better than in the pictures. The house has all the confort and all the elements you might need to enjoy your stay. It is surrounded by pure nature which makes you feel relax from the moment you enter in this magical atmosphere and the views are amazing. Sunset and sunrise are so magical there with the Dolomites turning red just in front of the house ! We strongly recommend this place !

Später Abend im September. Mein 88jähriger Vater und ich biegen ein letztes Mal scharf ab auf eine extrem steile, bemerkenswert gut ausgebaute Straße mit in den Asphalt hineingesetzten Lichtstrahlern, ein Klick, das gewaltige elektronisch gesteuerte Eisentor öffnet sich, Lichter gehen an, sie knallen wie Schweinwerfer auf einer großen Bühne auf das 60er Retrostyle anmutende Mosaik aus weißer Keramik. Das ist sie also: die Villa von Gambardella – elegant, imposant, extravagant, glanzvoll, besonders. Man tritt ein, es eröffnet sich ein riesiger offener Raum, jede Ecke lässt sich beleuchten und durch zahlreiche Terrassentüren geht Innen ins Außen über. Die Villa ist chic-modern, ausgefallen, aber was sie einfach überhaupt nicht ist – durchgestylt, die Einrichtung nimmt sich so wohltuend zurück, dass der Innenraum eine solche Weite hat, wie der Blick von der Terrasse in dieses grandiose Bergmassiv des Parco dei Monti Aurunci, bis weit hin zum Golfo di Gaeta, den man auch vom Bett des Schlafzimmers im ersten Stock beim Aufwachen hat. Die Villa ist ein Kunstwerk, doch uns gefällt, wie entspannt in ihr gelebt wird. Hier kann drinnen und draußen einfach Zeit miteinander verbracht werden, die offene Küche ist so gut ausgestattet, da fehlt aber auch gar nix, ein Hochgenuss auf dem großen Gasherd zu kochen. Die vielen Terrassen, oben und unten, links, rechts, auf denen man die aufgehende und untergehende Sonne genießen kann, die Zitronenbäume hinterm Haus, und dieser berührende Olivenbaum unter dem wir immer gefrühstückt haben und in den mein Vater sich verliebt hat. DAS Highlight: der etwas höher gelegene Pool mit Außendusche. Wir wurden von Francesco wunderbar betreut, die persönliche und völlig unkomplizierte Konversation mit der Besitzerin Anne-Celine – wir danken Dir!!

Und dann ist da der Ort – Itri, klein, nett, man kriegt dort alles was man braucht, und egal in welche Richtung von dort man auch immer fährt: Napoli oder Roma, Parco nazionale d’Abruzzo oder Monti Aurunci um nur zwei zu nennen, versteckte, bedeutsame Klöster (z.B. Casamari), Orte der Ursprünge unserer Kultur, wunderschöne, einsame Bergdörfer, Cattedrale di Anagni – die Schönheit der weitestgehend erhaltenen Fresken verschlagen einem den Atem, zwischendurch ein Tag am Meer – Lido 300 Gradini (mein Favorit), mit Papa Speralonga, weil einfach erreichbar und auch sehr schön. Noch ein letztes: ich fand da eine CD von ABBA und eine von Bach – beide aufgelegt, immer ganz laut, alle Terrassentüren auf…schwer zu beschreiben, wie schön sie waren – diese Momente. Wir haben wieder gebucht. GRAZIE Anne-Celine, GRAZIE Francesco per tutti !!!

We had wonderfull days mid october in the Grosse Speicher. Really more than enough space for three generations – and very tastefull design and interieur well suited for the building. We enjoyed all of it not least the fantastic kitchen and the cosy dining table. Booking arrangement went smoothly and the reception by the owners at the Kornspeicher were very accommodating. Surroundings are nice and Rügen is interesting to explore and worthwhile to (re)visit.

Ins Borgo Tranquillo zu fahren ist wie nach Hause zu kommen! Es war wieder eine super erholsame Woche im Borgo Tranquillo. Wir fühlten uns wunderbar aufgehoben und haben die Köstlichkeiten aus eurem Garten in vollen Zügen genutzt und tolle Gerichte gekocht. Frank und Ariane leben und lieben das Borgo und das ist spürbar in jeder Ecke und jedem Winkel. Wir freuen us auf eine baldige Rückkehr zu unserer ´Ruhe-Insel´. Danke dass es Euch gibt.

Borgo Tranquillo hasn’t lost any of the magic we experienced when we came the first time a few years ago. On the contrary – it has even won. Meeting everything again has been a wonderful feeling. It’s a great comfort to know that we can come back to this wonderful place and come back we will – that’s for sure. Thank you so much for everything, for sharing this special place with us, for all the treats, the beautiful apartment with its paintings, all the little things that are so considerate

The second time we have stayed in the house. It is a really lovely place, ideal for us. A quiet wonderful location at 1300m, all the facilities we need and a novel architecture that is very pleasing. We enjoy the abundant hiking routes throughout Pustertal and Val Badia. We get access to the northern Dolomites or the mountains up to the border. What a remarkable range of mountains are available. Bruneck, Innichen and Cortina – three brilliant towns for all your non hiking days. We have not tried the trains yet but did come back to the UK via the Autoverlad Vereina!

We have been spending a week or two of our holidays at Sister Homes in Vidovici for four years. Each time this place is just as wonderful for us :)) and Natasza and Ingrid are always hospitable and willing to help. This year we lived in the house No 9 for the first time. An ideal house for a family of four. Beautifully decorated with every detail refined. The house is equipped with all the equipment you may need, so you don’t have to bring anything with you (washing machine, dishwasher, iron, all necessary kitchen equipment). On the ground floor there is a spacious living room with a place to relax, as well as a kitchen and dining room. There are two bedrooms on the first floor, one on the mezzanine – the children had a lot of fun sleeping there. From the small terrace and bedroom window there is a wonderful view of the sea. Thanks to air conditioning, it is pleasantly cool inside even in very hot weather. We will definitely come back there again.

I was eager to see this beautiful house for myself having vicariously followed its progress from afar. To enjoy the extraordinary privilege of a one week stay at Villa Capri was a dream and the house surpassed all expectations. The attention to detail both inside and out is a joy and I felt like I was discovering something new each day. The generosity of the exterior spaces are glamorous in the extreme, outstanding views in all directions, Vesuvius in the distance over azure waters, elegant rails and chimney stack reminiscent of 30’s ocean liners, terraces that constantly invite you to all corners from which to view the house and its surrounds from new angles. The interiors provide deep comfort, great beds and linens, fantastic kitchen and exquisitely curated furniture. It’s not an understatement to say this house is an inspirational place in every way, an exceptional holiday destination to share with family and friends.

Wow, wunderschönes Design und so gemütlich, ich bin begeistert und inspiriert!

We had an amazing time at Due Pini. The view is just wonderful – waking up with a colorful sunrise and having an aperitivo at sunset – la dolce vita. The architecture is stunning and we spotted new details of the smart design almost every day – even during a hot day, the house is still well temperated the whole time. The kitchen is well equipped and you can find everything from a blender to tupperware.

Once you actually make it out of the house there is a lot to see and do closeby. Itri is a cute little Italian town, perfect for not only grocery shopping and eating out but also for having a walk through the small old town and visiting the castle. The sea is only a 15 minute drive away and we can really recommend renting a boat.

This is simply one of the most exquisite villas found in a region of pastoral beauty, history and tranquillity. Positioned perfectly on a hill, south east facing, to command views to the bay of Gaeta and beyond, the clean lines, innovative spaces and deceptive simplicity of the house create an atmosphere of calm elegance. The three levels combine the perfect platforms for total privacy or lively socialising, and no detail is a mere casual provision, but instead a thoughtful, aesthetically curated delight.

The architect has built around a pre-existing earthquake proof structure that was never completed, and the imagination to make the best and most interesting use out of these spaces is hugely inspiring.

This house can effortlessly absorb a big party of people of different ages and interests and the only negative is that its comforts and delights are so beguiling that it makes it hard to leave to travel to the wonderful sights, beaches, restaurants and antiquities that abound in the area. Hugely and enthusiastically recommended.

What a wonderful place to have a holiday! We really enjoyed our week here, the house is perfect and has been fitted out with a lot of thought and attention to detail. Everything you need is right there, for a family a godsend! From the moment we arrived we were able to relax and delve into the countryside – but only when we weren’t content just hanging out in the picture perfect house. There is lots of room and plenty of space to relax; an excellent kitchen and coffee machine; books, games and a million-dollar view. The owners are attentive, quick to respond and thoughtful, have plenty of tips and clearly take good care of their holiday home. We will certainly be returning to beautiful Slovenia and if we are lucky, to the House above the Valley.

This house offers exactly what the description says, and what it should offer in this area. Not too much and not too little. This allows you to enjoy the surroundings to the maximum.

It is very light and warm, functional and cozy at the same time. Beautiful views. Perfectly equipped. It gives you instantly a relaxed feeling. We really had a great stay.

In addition, we really liked the communication with Marie Louise. Same story: perfect balance: not too much, not too little, very clear.

We spent 5 nights in the Baixa house apartment with a family with two teens. We liked the central location, easy to handle the town, also for the teenagers to walk around on their own. All the staff in the house is very nice and helpful and caring. Above all, we found the concept of the house very sustainable; all the accessories are of local producers and designers, apartment is fully equipped (dish washer, laundry machine), different local guides about Lisbon and Portugal…

The design of the house and apartments is as seen on the photos.

Every morning we got fresh breakfast (fresh bread on the door knob). No pressure with “breakfast hours”, and no pressure with checking in and checking out hours.

Really best place for holidays, no need for any worries, and everything is handled with an ease and smile. So relaxing.

I wish this kind of sustainable approach would become more common in tourism.

A beautiful place. I spent a few nights there in August 2023. The apartment is spacious, very clean, and tastefully appointed. The walls are decorated with the owner’s artwork, adding a personal touch. The area is great for biking and hiking.

Unsere Zeit im Breac House in Donegal war einfach wunderbar. Die Gastfreundschaft war überwältigend und das Ambiente strahlte in jeder Ecke des Hauses eine herzliche Wärme aus. Der größte Schatz verbarg sich für uns in den liebevollen Details, die diesen Aufenthalt so besonders gemacht haben. Ein tiefer Dank an die Gastgeber Cathrine und Niall. Eine Erfahrung, die wir für immer in Erinnerung behalten werden. We will be back. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Thanks for the lovely week we could spent in this wonderful house. The nice architecture and luxery in the house felt like at home. The views from the terrace are amazing!

The surrounding area is very beautiful and invites for a hike or bike tour. You can spot deers every evening at sunset on the grassland just 100m above the house.

There are loads of good restaurants to have exceptional lunches or dinners. And don’t forget to go wine shopping and buy a beer at the local brewery.

As Slovenia has a good road connection you have a large choice of touristic places to visit within a 1 hour drive from the house.

We had such a wonderful stay in Seaside Villa Capo Zafferano… we really didn’t want to leave! Giacomo was the perfect host; waiting patiently when we arrived late to give us a very personal tour of the house that was designed by his father -this didn’t feel like a transactional villa rental, but someone sharing their family home with you. We personally loved the vibe of the house – full of colourful Italian design furniture that we appreciated, but with the feeling of a loved family home, not a cold house where you are scared to touch anything ;) The villa is truly one of a kind – built into the side of the cliff with so many inside and outside areas to explore and enjoy the beautiful views from. Sitting on the terrace with a morning coffee and watching the boats sail by was pure bliss. The private cove is the perfect spot for a quiet morning dip in the ocean, the local fishing villages are a great spot to grab a granita and Palermo is only 15 minutes by train from the closest station… what more could you want!?! We couldn’t have asked for anything more, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.
