The room under the large wooden roof with a view over the turquoise-coloured Lake Walchensee looks a little risqué. Where boats are usually moored, a wooden platform with a roof offers an unusual ambience for meetings, team events or photo shoots. You sit directly above the water as if on an island under a roof. The side that opens to the east provides an uninterrupted view of the lake and the surrounding mountains of the foothills of the Alps. The closed western side shields you from the wind so that the space can also be used on days when the weather is not so good. But of course, the boathouse on Lake Walchensee really comes into its own on warm summer days. That’s when the surrounding outdoor terrace becomes a favourite spot and waiting in the only remaining boat mooring, is the red pedalo, which can be taken out for a ride. The 150-square-metre area cannot be seen from the shore and therefore offers plenty of privacy.
