In front of the house, the Saar River flows by, while at the back, the vines grow, producing internationally renowned Saar Rieslings. Cantzheim Winery, located at the foot of the Kanzem Altenberg, a “grand cru” vineyard popular among wine connoisseurs, is a late Baroque manor house that has been carefully restored by Swiss architect Max Dudler in keeping with monument preservation requirements. It was expanded with a remise (coach house) and an orangery, combining tradition and modernity with great elegance. The French savoir-vivre of nearby Lorraine, the border is only a few kilometres away, influences the lifestyle. For events, the glass orangery and the historical vaulted cellar, the Westsalon — a parlour with a fireplace — and the vinotheque in the manor house are available. These locations are suitable for team meetings, workshops, product presentations and private celebrations, including civil weddings, as Cantzheim is an official branch of the registry office in Konz. The professional kitchen in the mansion offers the opportunity to hold cooking events. Five guestrooms in the manor house and the remise are available for overnight stays.
